Are you among the ones who are trying your best to stay away from the sweets in order to lose weight? Or, you don’t really know how to deal with the sweet temptations only to indulge in a massive block of ice cream or a cake later!! This is a typical scenario which most of my new clients describe about depriving themselves when the urge arises. Of course, I do not mean that one needs to give in every time with no self control. However, the point that I want to make here is that you need to find out healthier ways to deal with the cravings and get them sorted out in time rather than wait for the cravings to drive you nuts!
So in order to help my family and clients, I started to experiment with various ingredients and come up with an easy, healthy and delicious solution to the problem. I have been treating my family and also guests with this 2 ingredients ice cream which is super easy to make and is super healthy and yummylicious!
And I would like to share this goodness with you and multiply the joy of having an icecream guilt free, without having to count calories coming from added sugar and cream. You can always experiment and make your own flavours once you get the hang of it
So give your serotonin a high with all the tryptophan (an essential amino acid) coming in from bananas in this recipe.
SUGARFREE GUILT-FREE NICECREAM RECIPE
(Serves 3 – 4)
Bananas – 4 nos. (ripe and spotted ones)
Peanut Butter – 2 tablespoons
Vanilla essence / pod – 1 no. (optional)
Peel the bananas and slice them in to big chunks. put them in to a zip lock bag and freeze them for 4 hours.
After 4 hours, remove the frozen bananas from the bag and blend well until rich and creamy. This may take 5 mins approximately.
Then add in the peanut butter and vanilla essence and blend for another couple of minutes to mix well.
Empty the blended thick banana paste in a favourable container and set to freeze for another 2 – 3 hours to allow it to solidify like an icecream. Yo may want to store it until you want to consume it.
Scoop out the icecream and voila it’s ready to be dived into! :))
Isn’t that an easy recipe to satisfy your sweet tooth minus the calories! and it surely is healthy compared to the store bought ice creams as it has no added sugar and cream to it. Plus no preservatives and colour. that’s what makes it so purely divine! Top it up with your favourite frozen berries or any fruits to add colour and enjoy!!

Do take note that if you are prone to peanut allergy, then you may want to use almond butter or cashew butter instead.
